The United States Men National Team have become champions of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and are now the reigning champions of the continent.

USA beat Mexico in the final. It was a very tied game with none of the usual star players from the national team. There were no goals until the 117’, when Miles Robinson scored the winning goal and gave America the second cup and the second win to Mexico in a final in two month, adding this Gold Cup to the CONCACAF Nations League.

Robinson’s goal (116 minutes and 53 seconds) was the second latest goal ever scored in all history of the Gold Cup, following Andrés Guardado against Costa Rica in 2015 (he scored at the 123 minutes and 43 seconds).

Mexico has played 10 Gold Cup finals and have just 2 of them (both against USA, in 2007 and 2021), and they had won the last four (2009, 2011, 2015 and 2019).
